K50 ULTRA UPDATE

Hi guys,

I have the k50 ultra with the rom 14.0.9.1 TLFCNXM.

I tried updating via ota and saving the file in the system folder for updating via recovery.

The smartphone restarts in recovery mode, but does not update.

Does anyone know what's going on?

Do you have a xiaomi.eu ROM on your device?
If yes, you need to install TWRP for OTA.

If a install the ROM forma fastboot, will i lose my personal data?

The installation method (fastboot/recovery) is not decisive, but whether it is the first installation of the xiaomi.eu ROM or only an update from xiaomi.eu to a newer xiaomi.eu ROM.

If you are using windows:
- If you are installing xiaomi.eu ROM for the first time, you must use the format data script (data will be deleted).
windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat

- If you only update , you use the update script (data is preserved).
windows_fastboot_update_rom.bat
