Looking for rom for mi8

Hi im a complete newbie to xiaomi go my first mi8 phone yesterday great phone but what i have noticed is there are some of the settings in Chinese how can i change the phone to completely English someone advised me that i need a Xiaomi.eu rom??

I'm not an expert, but you need to unlock your bootloader, this takes 360 hours in the standard way. Then you need twrp or similar. Then you should install the newest Chinese ROM, and then the global or EU ROM. There are lots of threads on the XDA forum if you need a step by step guide.
But be careful, do not try to lock the bootloader, and if you have any doubts, then don't do anything
