Hi guys,
I have bought a Mi 9 SE on eBay. I only asked if the bootloader was unlocked and it was. It had a cracked screen and I bought a new one to replace it. Now, I plugged the new screen in and see that there was a pincode for opening the phone. I formatted with TWRP and see that the device is associated to a Mi account. I do not have log in name / phonenumber etc & password. I sent a message to the seller, but no answer.
Is there any way to fix this?
Note: I formatted again and flashed Pixel Experience rom. After that there was no lock with Mi account. Does the lock only work with miui rom? Because I want to use miui rom.
And what if I flash fastboot rom with Mi flash? Mi account gone after that?
Note 2: seller has given password Mi account, so it's fixed.
