Mi max 3 China version - fake-rom

Hi.
I will soon get home a mi max 3 China version.
with fakerom.
Is it possible to insert xiaomi.eu directly or do I have to add a chinarom first?
If I install the china room does it lock the bootloader ?
and will the xiaomi.eu rom update OTA
