Hi everyone. My Mi Pad keeps crashing. It hapens every time I try to share something e.g. picture/link or when I try to open downloaded files. The files can however be opened though the app menu (e.g. .doc in Word).
Any idea what may be the problem?
Thank you in advance and best regards,
&j

how about posting the actual crashlog or at least a screenshot ?

Did you guys install Magisk?
I just bought mine from an online store, it came with unlocked bootloader and what appears to be the xiaomi.eu global rom. In that case, no, I haven't installed Magisk.

Should this solve the crashing?

Mi pad 4 wifi on 9.1.24 running magisk 18.0
Have never experienced thus crash.

Steps to reproduce from OP are rather vague...

In which app are you trying to share a link with or a file?
Where are you trying to open download from? Browser? Downloads app?
What rom version?

Magisk might not necessarily cause this, only in some cases, on the other hand old global rom could. Update and let us know.

Unfortunately, it doesn't let me update through the settings menu. In that case, do I have to update through TWRP?

You said yourself it uses xiaomi.eu global rom, but we never built global rom for this device, so I highly recommend to install our dev/stable or even official as it is already unlocked, and yeah you would need TWRP.

I bought the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 8" from Banggood, World Rom, wifi 4 GB + 64 GB, it arrived a few days ago and I get many crashes like: android has stopped. It happened with many apps on several locations.
Do I have to do something?
