New Mi Wifi Router 3 Shows "invalid File Format" Error When Trying To Restore.

I have regularly taken backup of Mi WiFi Router 3 (Firmware Version: 2.10.42). When I tried to restore the backup, it shows "Invalid file format" error. The backup file is a tar.gzip file. I tried to restore the file by unzipping, but it doesn't work either. I am on Windows 10.

Please suggest a working way to restore the router settings.
