MIUI 12.1 20.8.25/27/28 - can't use 5x Zoom camera for video

Hi,
i'm using MIUI 12.1 20.8.25/27/28 on my Mi Note 10.
When using camera, I can't use 5x Zoom camera for video.

I even can't use 5x Zoom camera (upper camera) for photos on my Mi Note 10 Pro. Problem only with stock camera, with *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* the camera works... MIUI 12 Stable.

Hi I found that if you touch and hold the 2x switch and swipe you will see 5x 10x and 50x and the increments between

Did anyone find a solution to the problem of using the 5x zoom camera for video? It would be great to have the 5x zoom option back on-screen on the camera app, too, without needing to press-and-hold to see it as an option. The 5x camera is one of my favourites and I don't understand why it has been hidden in MIUI12!
