New Miui 3.5.31 status bar error

Hi dev,
I am a Motorola defy user and have been using Miui roms for quite some time now, but ever since build 3.5.17 there seems to be a problem with the status bar reboot and power off toggle. Whenever I select any one of those toggles it directly hot reboots the phone without giving an option for power off, reboot, recovery reboot or hot reboot. Also the phones switch off button when pressed hot reboots the phone instead of switching off. Need help on this. I am currently on 3.5. 31 build still facing the same issue so have to use a third party app to boot into recovery shutdown or reboot the phone. Also I have done fresh installs of roms by wiping data and cache but still no difference
Need help from dev cause I like the Miui status bar very much. Let me know if you need any more information.. Thks in advance.

Well you need to wait until dev can fix that. Unfortunately you have to deal with this as ports for old devices are likely to be bugged. Do you often go to recover or reboot phone?

Thanks Miui dev for that quick response. i really appreciate all the hard work and efforts that you guys put in developing roms for phones that r as old as mine. As for your question yes i kinda regularly reboot the phone in recovery mode especially to do some experimenting with it and reboot to clear cache and fix permission, also because there has been some bugs in the ported roms recently. needed a way that i could directly provide feedback to the dev porting the rom for motorola defy as i can provide some details about the bugs.
Bugs like the one i have aready mentioned, also the defy has a fourth search hardware button apart from home menu and back, so needed a way to add a function to it. the menu button when double pressed open google search automatically even though i have disabled that function in setting under button keys by selecting none.
