New Redmi note 11 Pro Plus 5G Miui 13 rom support

Hi,

I came accross this forum while looking for a rom update for the new Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, which was released a couple of days ago.

As far as I understood, as the device is Mediatek-based, it won't officially be supported by the Xiaomi.eu roms.

However, as it's an updated variant of the Note 11 Pro 5G, with almost the exact same specs apart from the processor, would the MIUI 13 stable rom work anyway since this phone is supported, or would it lack the necessary Mediatek libraries required to work on my device?

If the ROMs effortlessly installed and ran the exact same way on Mediatek chipsets, Xiaomi.eu would not exclude them from support.

But I guess you already knew the answer ...

Are you kidding me? Having a different SoC makes it a completely different device when it comes to its firmware and software...
Android phones are not Windows PCs.
