Order of installed Apps

Is there a way othere than the "Long press an app icon and then you may move it freely. When it is moved to the screen border, the screen will automatically switch to the next screen" to auto order the apps?

As far as I know, no there is not. I recommend downloading Applist Backup which will save your applications in alphabetical order and then in the future you can redownload them in ABC order.
