Ota Update After Flashing International Rom?

If you update using Update app in MIUI after flashing international version from this site does it work or replace it with the Chinese version or what?

Yes it works. Updates are coming slower because they need to upload updates to chinese Xiaomi servers, also download speeds could be slow from China.
