Currently on latest stable EU 1.0.6.0.
I noticed that, any sim that is inserted into SIM1, would be "soft-locked" to B28 Band. I tried flashing different modems from hyperOS Global 1.0.3.0, 1.0.2.0, and MIUI 14, but to no avail.
Inserting said SIM into SIM2, would then work as normal, finding the best band to connect with.
The reason im putting this out is because of one of my SIM operator "Umobile", is having this issue where i am unable to make/receive calls via VOLTE, despite having internet access. Going into VOWIFI works normally. switching that SIM to SIM2 works normally, but i don't get 5G 99% of the time (i believe for my operator, it uses LTE +NSA to push 5G network, and connecting to B28 band allows that im assuming).
Putting the same sim card into my Poco F6 Peridot on Xiaomi.Eu Stable also has the same issue.
Unsure if this is operator related issue or an software issue from the modem / ROM. Just would like to give a heads up to anyone else that might have this issue.
