After updating (through the update batch file, i.e. not clean install) the latest MIUI 14 Stable ROM to the latest HyperOS Stable ROM, the system SMS app (Messaging) does not work. On launching it crashes after briefly showing a black screen. SMS messages cannot be received, even after setting Google Messages to be the default SMS app.
