Problem with 4G+, can i disable it?

Hello in the last days my Redmi note 7, switches from 4g+ and 4g and my internet feels slow or very weird to navigate..
Is there an option to disable the LTEA or carrier aggregation?? or i need to root to disable it? can someone help me with this please
