Problem With Wireless Screen

Hi, MIX is my first Xiaomi device, with Rom global 8.2.4.0.

I used to use wireless screen but since I have MIX can't see the phone screen on smart tv.
I've tried on two different smart tv (Philips and LG) with same results.
With a LG G4 phone works ok. In the past I used Nexus 4 with no issues.
Miracast it's on in both smart tv. MIX show TV in list of devices to connect.

When try to connect, the process gets stuck in the second step, when try to play the screen content, then black screen on tv, after that an message shows an error an says to try it later.
Someone can help me please.

Wifi seetings maybe... band 5Ghz vs 2.6 Ghz or something like that... sometimes it cause an issue with EU router... i"ll be back to home tmrrow will try on my LG...

I already tried it. Changed in router de radio diffusion type between b/g and b/g/n combined, without success.
I can see the TV in list of wireless displays that could be able to connect. The process start, and seems to be ok because during a while icon is shown on top bar. Then suddenly disappears y shows "error playing".

On TV is enables Wifi Direct and miracast (Otherwise it would not be possible to see the device in the list).
LG G4 and Nexus 4 connects right in both TV that I´ve tried (Philips and LG).

I would like to stay on MIUI stock, although maybe try other Rom to check if the same thing happens.

Works here on my LG TV... there is an issue with your rom or TV... but your TV support other miracast feature with othre edevice then i suppose it's your rom...

i'm on 8.2.3.0 MIUI 8 from here...

Hi LeSScro, i'm on Miui Global 8.2 | stable 8.2.5.0

I did not want to flash the phone so new, but I can not find another solution.

Already asked for unlock to Xiaomi.
Will try flashing Epic or RR to check if wireless screen works.

I´ve tried with this roms:

• Global Dev Rom 7.5.15 (fastboot)
• xiaomi.eu_multi_MIMix_V8.2.2.0.MAHCNDL_v8-6.0.zip
• Epic ROM NOUGAT Pro 7.5.15

Same results un two TV (Philips and LG). No playing phone screen on TV.
Only rest try Resurection Remix, Lineage or wait to Miui 9 with Nougat.

With youtube app can send content, play on TV and some options regular actions, but no mirroring.

I can not understand that it may be failing when start playing on the TV.

Very strange.. miracast is same protocol on every device basically...
But if you can cast on TV, there is a way to make it work...

Does ur TV is up to date ? i don"t about Philips but LG send a lot of update (every 2 months i got an update)
I have an LG UH770V with 04.31.10 version and Xiaomi.eu 8.2.3.0... Systemless with magish + supersu + xposed...

This evening I´ll check if TVs firmwares are up to date checking vendors update list.
I think so, but I'll make sure and annotate firmawares version.

Some user suggest to "delete youtube app updates from philips tv and it did the trick".
My philips tv hasn´t Android TV. I´ll try this evening.

Other user suggest to use allcast premium app (I think It has nothing to do with it )

It is annoying, because of i used to do screen cast frecuntly before MIX.
The phone works like a charm except this feature.

I will continue testing other options

On Resurrection Remix works. Same TV´s.
I´lll try LineageOS in a few days, I think will work on Lineage too.
LineageOs has added lithium to its list of device officially.
When MIUI 9 will be launched I´ll give the last chance to MIUI. But if no works, RR will be mi Rom or LineageOS.
