[Question] What version should i install ?

Hello all,

im on Miui 12.0.8.0 K40 Pro
there is xiaomi.eu_multi_HMK40Pro_MI11i_21.3.17_v12-11-fastboot.zip (weekly)
but latest is : xiaomi.eu_multi_HMK40Pro_MI11i_21.4.14_v12-11-fastboot.zip (weekly)
also latest stable is : xiaomi.eu_multi_HMK40Pro_MI11i_V12.0.9.0.RKKCNXM_v12-11-fastboot.zip

which version should i flash for first time ? i dont want to brick my device

Flash latest Weekly or Stable version for your device.

I suggest to use the Weekly branch but it's up-to you to chose.

Reminder: Do NOT dirty flash a Stable version from an installed Weekly version (and vice-versa).

Thanks for replying, i just want the safest and guaranteed way to do it,
as i understand is i can choose either Weekly or Stable when coming from stock
But if i choosed weekly, i cant go to stable with dirty install, Correct?

You can try a dirty install but it's not recommended...

About flashing a "Fastboot" ROM, here my advices:

- Prefer to use a computer with "Intel" CPU/chipset
- Avoid using a USB 3.x port => Use USB 2.0 or a "USB 2.0 Hub" device if no USB 2.0 available
- Use an original USB-C cable (in good condition)

That's great, so i'll unlock phone after 168 hours (device will be wiped)
then i will flash latest weekly via fastboot, and i should only update using latest weeklies, correct?
