Recording failed on miui 2.9.29

every time when i try to record a video using the camera it hangs for about 10 sec doing nothing and then i get error "Recording failed"
stills photos are ok
what to do ?

update : front camera record just fine, just the rear camera giving me problems

another update : it lets me record if i lower the resolution below Full hd

not so happy about it but switched to another rom - Omega, and everything is working gr8 now
will come back to miui when this issue is fixed
