Redmi 9T poor wifi signal

Have purchased this phone around 6 months ago, at the begining the wifi was good, now it is getting poorer every day, is there anything that I can do to improve this please? Yestrday I updated the MIUI to the 12.5.2 version.

Install a WIFI test application from GPlay and this will show you the signal strength. Also if it is cause the phone or wifi signal around you. You can compare this way with friends phones and be sure of your statement.

I have exactly the same problem and note that many others around the world do too. It seems to be fixabLe but will be weeks in the workshop.
I have run wifi analyser on 9T and cheap junk phone. 9T is much lower signal.
Last time I ever buy a Xiaomi.
Trying on 5g now
