Remote LAN connection

In Xiaomi phones, there's an option to view PC folders by WIFI connection over the same LAN. Couldn't find the same in the included file explorer on the Mipad 4.
Is the functionality included? If not, can you recommend on an alternative file explorer which includes the same?
