$ Reward if you can help fix WiFi calling on a Mi 6

When I go to make a WiFi call I get an error message
"Connect to a WiFi network".
But I am connected to Wifi.

When I put the SIM card in a Google Pixel 3 WiFi Calling works perfectly.

Does anyone have any suggestion for how I can fix this and make it work on my Mi 6?

I was looking into this, and it seems to be very operator-dependant.
What is your exact operator and country?

I'm using Boost which is the same as Telstra here in Australia.
