What is treble

Verstuurd vanaf mijn MI 8 SE met Tapatalk
some custom rom like lineage os or ressurrection remix are treble rom,so if we flashed their rom,we also need to flash magisk for treble because it is required for that rom

but one thing i want to know,is mi eu 8.7.12 for mi 8 se are treble rom or not?

It will take time , I believe, before there will be RR or LOS for mi 8 (SE)

Hello guys,

It seems to me you got Xiaomi.eu working.
I did not, and I have some experience with this.

I followed this procedure:
a) Flash latest Official China Developer ROM via fastboot;
b) Unlock the bootloader;
c) Flashed TWRP;
d) Flashed Xiaomi.eu latest Developer ROM;
e) Cleaned Cache, Dalvik cache, and Data;
f) Boot loop.

I simply do not understand why I am getting a boot loop.
Am I making a mistake?
Do you have any advice, regarding TWRP to use or other?

Cheers.

For my mi8se i need to click "format data" in WIPE and write "yes", restart the bootloader, connect the phone to pc and copy the rom to the phone and then flash he rom and it works...

Hope it can help !

Thank you very much!
It helped a lot, and it worked.

I was not realizing that, despite I selected Data on the Wipe process, the Data partition was not, in fact, being wiped.
So, I had to select the "Wipe Data" option, on the Wipe menu, and then insert "yes" manually in order to perform the wipe Data action.

Now it works like a charm.
Thank you once again!

i use mi 8 SE, latest stable eu rom, twrp 3.2.3 from xda with build in magisk 16.3
root works, but magisk hide doesn,t.
i hear that latest magisk 17.1 fix the magisk hide problem, anyone has working magisk 17.1 on mi 8 SE? and magisk hide also work?
