Security exception: PID XXXX does not have permission android.permission.CLEAR_APP_USER_DATA

Hey guys,

I just have a quick question here. On stock, non-rooted MIUI, I am unable to perform some functions via ADB without setting up a MI Account, and having an active SIM card with a data connection to be able to turn these settings on. I am simply trying to clear data for some apps and change some secure settings:

android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS
android.permission.CLEAR_APP_USER_DATA

Is there any way to bypass this considering I have rooted my Xiaomi.eu device?
