Hello,

I'm using Miui 3.8.23 on a ZTE v987.
My phone has 4 GB internal memory and it seems it is divided now in 1GB for apps (system storage) and 2GB internal phone memory (phone storage). I have an SD card that's 32GB.

1) I selected SD memory in the camera menu. However, when I take pictures, they end up in the "Phone Storage". Can I change this in another way?
2) I don't understand why I need the "Phone storage". Ideally, I would like the system storage to be 3 GB. Is this possible ?
3) If not, how can I move apps to SD ? I already tried App2SD and Android Assistant, but then I send up in the MIUI "App info" menu, where I should click "storage", but there is nothing to click. In the stock android ROM, i saw a menu "Move to SD". Isn't it supported by MIUI?

I've found some older thread where they say "app2ext" should be supported. However, when I format my card in ext3, MIUI says the card is damaged. I tried partitioning it in 2 primary partitions, the first ext3, the second fat32 and vice versa, but it still says it is damaged...

Does anybody has any clues if app2ext is still supported in MIUI v5 ?

What's the best way to get rid of the "phone memory" or combine it?
