New Stuck in a bootloop, unable to get logs (TAOYAO)

Just upgraded to xiaomi.eu_TAOYAO_OS1.0.12.0.ULIMIXM_14.zip from 1.0.11... using fastboot.
I see the logo and dots underneath are showing loading but nothing happens, and after a while my device reboots.
I can enter fastboot but I can't get logs - "
adb.exe: no devices/emulators found
Reading device name failed!
"

Same thing in Safe Mode. Can it be the same issue https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/device-does-not-start-veuxg.74637/ ?

Alright, I downgraded to 1.0.11.0 without wiping any data, turned on USB debugging, and upgraded back to 1.0.12.0 to gather some info what went wrong.
idk why but for some reason I'm no longer in bootloop lol
