New Stuck on recovery mode

I have a Redmi Note 8 Pro and some days ago I tried updating it's softwere. After restarting the phone, it got stuck on recovery mode. The reboot option doesn't work and I don't want to erase my data since I have 3000 photos. I tried using MiFlash with the save data option but the seconds counter just doesn't stop, it's been on for almost an entire day now. What should I do?

And which ROM you tried to install?
Did the progress bar move?

I tried installing the oldest version for europe and the progress bar moved until it reached it's maximum but then the elapse kept going up and I left it like that for 18 hours hoping that at some point it would stop.

As you've got stock preloader, hard-brick is possible...
I'm not sure of what you have to do.
Maybe you can get more help on XDA forum.

This device is not supported by this CUSTOM EU ROM. So it's definitely not a bug of this ROM. Please report your issue to official Xiaomi forum. TY!
