Looks like they were not installed, you can install them manually:
As for Weather super wallpaper, it's a first alpha build, might not work perfectly.
Still, you forgot to mention which device you're using.

@Igor Eisberg Thanks for the tip to download them manually. Updating the Earth one brought the new landing points to my RN8. The Weather one is not present at all in the launcher so is there any point in looking for the APK. Will it show up if I install it or the launcher needs to be updated itself?

Installs and shows up in the launcher. Thank you. It doesn't show the correct weather though as some people have reported, I guess Xiaomi should fix it in the next version. Thank you again, very helpful and to the point as always.
