Under network settings where you choose your preferred network. For "use 2G networks only", in brackets it claims...uses more power. I have always thought it to use less power (ie save battery), even other phones I have had said it uses less battery. Maybe I'm mistaken though.
I have 1.7.22 with the English pack on.
BTW, I'm new to MIUI, how are others experiencing the battery life (particularly on the Milestone)? I find it depletes fast, even if I'm not using the phone.
