Troubles unlocking bootloader

Hi,

I have tried to unlock my bootloader on Xiaomi 14 a few times now and the community app always says something is wrong or that application quota limit is reached. I have waited literally for exactly 00:00 China time, the second clock hits I try but it still rejected me already twice.

Am I doing something wrong?

Should I apply for unlocking 2 seconds before clock hits or something? Am I competing with thousands of people at the same time or bots or whats going on?

I really doubt that i will by a Xiaomi phone again.

The last date on which users can unlock the bootloader under this regime will fall on September 9, 2024, at 11:59 PM. After that, Xiaomi will not allow any more new requests to unlock the bootloader, a full month in front of the official release of HyperOS 2.0. That seems to seal, once and for all, whatever flexibility Xiaomi device users might have confronted with regard to device customization or root access.

but i have International Poco F6 and have the same issue as you.
I try at about 00 00, or few minuites before or 1 after... still the same.. quota is reached...

I think i will sell this phone when they not gonna fix it quick. I will not use it on orginal ROM

I saw this too.. It is not clear how it affects those with global rom atm, but it seems almost impossible getting allowance to unlock bootloader.
I'm also looking into other unofficial options to unlock it but I'm not sure I wanna spend beyond 50€ on it..

i wont spend anything on it. Sure its not clear but something has been changed. Even when no one speaks open about it.
No official Statement ( only about CN Devices ) about Global / Int - but you cannot unlock it anymore

I managed to unlock my bootloader on X14.
Around December 2nd, I applied yet again on community app. I applied aproximately 9 seconds before 0:00 am.
Usually after 3-5 tries, it returns error and delays new tries. This time, I think this was my 2nd time and it immediately blocked me for 14 days.
So I gave up on it. But like a week after, out of boredom, I went to settings and clicked to bind my account to the phone. This can only be done when you receive permission from community app. Which I didn't receive. But nevertheless, it did get binded. I read before on reddit that some people could unlock it this way but I didn't believe it. Anyway, once this was done, I immediately went ahead and used Mi Unlock on my PC, I passed first checkmark and 72h countdown began, and now I already have it unlocked with xiaomi.eu rom on my x14. I'm super happy

"quota limit" for more than two weeks now. Obviously it's not working as expected. Do you feel cheated by xiaomi?

It's hard to get it unlocked. I was trying ever since late August. But this method I described worked for me. Try a few seconds in advance and if you get error, try binding your account.

Где-то 2 декабря я снова подал заявку в приложении сообщества. Я подал заявку примерно за 9 секунд до 0:00 утра.
Обычно после 3-5 попыток он возвращает ошибку и задерживает новые попытки. В этот раз, я думаю, это был мой второй раз, и он немедленно заблокировал меня на 14 дней.
Поэтому я сдался. Но где-то через неделю, от скуки, я зашел в настройки и нажал, чтобы привязать свой аккаунт к телефону. Это можно сделать только получив разрешение от приложения сообщества. Которого я не получил. Но тем не менее, он был привязан. Я читал раньше на Reddit, что некоторые люди могут разблокировать его таким образом, но я не верил в это. В любом случае, как только это было сделано, я сразу же пошел дальше и использовал Mi Unlock на своем ПК, я прошел первую галочку, и начался обратный отсчет 72 часов, и теперь он уже у меня разблокирован с помощью xiaomi.eu rom на моем x14. Я очень счастлив

Can you tell me more about how you did it? I have the same problem, it asks to log in on 4.02.25 and there is an error. Did you log in to your account a week later, through your phone settings? I understand that you logged out of your account on your phone, or not? What happened a week later, how was everything?

I described it above.
I applied for unlocking, I got error. I didn't do anything for a week, I forgot about it. Never logged out or anything. After a week, out of boredom I went to developer options and clicked bind account. And it worked. This simple.
I read somewhere that it might be necessary to enable something in Xiaomi account settings. Some kind of backup or something. I forgot about it. Might be location tracking or something sms related. I also did this.
I was also leveling up my xiaomi account in community, i got to lv4 and was close to lv5. Thats all i can tell you
