TWRP cannot decrypt the device

Hey there,

finally I was able to unlock my Mi 8. I would like to flash the .eu-ROM, but I stuck at the point, where the TRWP-Tool should install the new ROM.

The point is, that after switching the TWRP-Language to english (only English and Chinese is available), and pressing the "install" Button, I cannot locate the .zip-File!
When I chose the "sdcard"-Folder, there is NO file which name makes sense. Every file is named like: 7snehd93eskshe or xnbinskqhe64.

Do you have any idea, how to solve this issue?

The other day I read, that it is also possible to Flash the ROm with the Mi-Flash tool? Is it as safe as via TWRP or what are the advantages/disadvantages when using this way?!


I'm using the 3.2.2 - 0703 -TWRP-Tool
I simply copied the folder on my PC to the phone.
I transfered the Files into the "download"-Folder. 3.2.2 - 0703

What version of TWRP are you using?
What method did you use to transfer the rom to the phone? In which folder did you transfer the .zip?
