TWRP installed on Xiaomi mi mix 3

Hi Guys,

So i am new to TWRP as i usually just buy my xiaomi phones new. This Mi Mix 3 however, i bought it second hand because it got the call recording function. Now everytime i go to update, i see the 2.3GB update to Miui 12. But this is a beta.

Will i be able to get the official update to Miui 12 when it gets released? I dont want to erase all my data.

If you have a beta installed then you only get beta updates.
If you want go to stable then you must format data and install an stable ROM.
And if you want go back to official global you must use the MiFlash Tool to flash global ROM. This will also replace your TWRP with stock recovery.
What ever you do you will lose all your data.

Ouch! That is gonna hurt. So i might as well be stuck with Miui 11. No idea how to flash this either. But then again. i will flash it next time i am in shenzhen.

The weekly or beta ROM is quite stable with more features as the stable ROM.
I never used stable ROM after unlocking my Mix 3 and i never had any problems.
So you can update to weekly Miui 12 without problems. The weekly runs very smooth.
