New Uninstall app

In one condition i cant uninstall apps.
Setup is : with app drawer.
Chouse app from app drawer. Hold it and drag it to main screen to delete it in top pop up menu.
(Like all android).
And this is not working.
Actually is not working from first version.
Now i'm on stable 12.5.9
Phone is xiaomi mi 11.

You don't have to drag the icon.
Just long press the icon, you'll see opinion to uninstall

No i have to.
This is one of the way to remove apps.
And i use this way back from 2009 Till now...
