Update Redmi Note 3 (mtk) To Android 6.x Or 7.x

Hi, how can I update the android version? I currently have 5.0.1 so I would like to be able to update it if possible, i mean only the version, not to have pure android, that is, have miui and the android version updated. Thank you

There is no MIUI update with Android 6.x or even 7.x for your MTK-device.

No but see in an post in Redmi Note 3 under rom, have not tested that version ,
an 5.1.1 Cyanogenmod 12.1 for Redmi Note 3 (mtk)

Probably the Redmi Note 3 MTK will not get any OS update 'cause the MTK Helio X10 device tree is not free, you might find ROMs but there will be only ports, patches, with lots of bugs. Happens the same with RN4 MTK

I think that too best way buy another phone can runing android 6.0 or 7.0 but are happy with my redmi note 3 mtk but bad could not upgrade newer android.
