I have a Xiaomi 12 that is stuck in HyperOS 1 and would like to upgrade it to HyperOS 2. Going into 'About phone' does not offer the option 'System updates'. I have heard that changing my region could help. I tried several regions to no avail. Is this possible ?
After that I tried to download the rom file and do the update myself with fastboot. But like thousands of users, I got stuck while trying to unlock the bootloader. I tried every single method I found. No way.
I would be very glad if some knowledgeable person can help me. Thanks.
