Waiting For Wifi

Currently my mi4c is stuck on waiting for wifi when downloading something from the playstore. However my phone is connected to a working wireless network... Anyone else recognize this problem?

Yes. You need an older version of Google Play or simply uninstall updates.

how can I disable auto play store update? when I uninstall all update than it autoupdate

I have the same problem. I've uninstalled updates from Google play Store app but after few minutes the message "waiting fot wifi" appears again

Go to settings in play store, and make Every auto update to maniak, then it should work

I don't know what do you mean with make to maniak . I tied to deactivate auto update on Google play settings. But didn't work.

Same problem here! The Play Store 7.3.07.K-all works! 7.3.08 doesn't!

deactivate auto update on Google play settings is for APP's only - new Play Store came on next opening the Play Store APP! I go back for every APK download or update to 7.3.07!

I found this on a Romanian forum.

"Ok i have a definitely solution for the wifi problem
But need root permission
1-Dowload lucky patcher
2-Go to toolbox and choose "patch to android"
3- check 2 options
"Signature verification"
"Disable verification"
Uncheck "only pach dalvik-cache" and apply
4 - wait and your phone will be restart
5- open lucky patcher tap on talkbox again and "install modded Google playstore"
6- choose latest version and install
7- your phone restart again
And... Done my friend...
No wifi problem"

Update to latest available build of Nougat Miui, it will fix the problem.

Update to lattest Rom resolved the problem!
