What if Xiaomi stops the possibility to unlock bootloaders?
More manufacturers are going to stop unlocking recently. And so does Xiaomi as far as it seems.
They still claim to offer Unlock by applying for an Unlock in the Community app.
After trying for weeks, I learned they only.offer a limited number of Unlocks per day, rumors say 2000 only? Then they start a period on 00:00 Chinese time. So first groups are scripting to automatically batch-unlock at 00::00, making it almost impossible for human unlocked.
That's not applying for an Unlock, that's more a lottery.
What comes next? Xiaomi could stop Unlocking completely.
What will happen to Xiaomi.eu? Aren't they depending on unlocked devices?
For me it's clear to return recently purchased Xiaomi devices and stop purchasing Xiaomi.
