Where do I post suggestions (ambient display MIUI 11)

Hi there,

I just bought a Mi 9t Pro- and generally I am happy with it. But coming from a Pocophone I really miss the notification LED.

The Ambient Display just isn't great, it's too bright and doesn't display notification info.

For me I'd like Ambient Display to show ONLY when I have notifications but leave the screen dark when there is none - is there a place I can suggest this?

There's feedback and suggestions in settings to, directly to Xiaomi.
Here Xiaomi.eu Don't make the rom they just tune if and add better things and remove the crap.if there's no led.there's no led

Yeah I have seen this, but the screen lights up just once when a message is received. After that (with those settings above) - the screen would go dark again, and no further notification?

Ideally, something would appear on the screen and stay there until you open up the app.

Yes that is called AOD then,turn on show app icons for notifications and they look better on AOD

Since when Mi 9T/Mi 9T Pro don't have a notification LED?? It's on top of the front camera. But you can try "True Edge" app in Play Store.

Not accurate.
There's "Use app icons for notifications" under Notch & status bar -> Status bar, it affects notification icons for status bar and notification shade only.
And there's another "Use app icons for notifications" under Always-on display & Lock screen -> Always on display, which affects the notification icons on AOD specifically.
