That 0.0001% was just to point out that is not technically impossible because some Helio X10 based devices from other vendors has been upgraded to 6, so it's not technically impossible.

Why not using custom rom such as Resurrection Remix by Bule? It works flawlessly on my Redmi Note 2 Prime and the battery life is much better

No, we are never get any Android update. RN2 came in market with 5.02 and still have the same version.
Even security update stopped and last one from December 2106.
