Hello! So I've successfully installed Xiaomi.eu on my Xiaomi 14 global version. I have not been flashing custom ROMs since 2019, so I am kind of outdated when it comes to this. I saw on the HyperOS thread that you can use the Updater app from within the OS itself. In the future, if there is an update for Houji (Xiaomi 14), should I update it from there or do the fastboot one (where I cannot my phone to my PC)?

The updater app doesn't work for houji and shennong as far as I know.
Personally, I update through adb sideload and clear cache and dalvik right after (before rebooting).
You can also use fastboot, in the end it's up to you.
(PS: keep your drivers up to date if using fastboot. I nearly broke my bootloader because of that...)
