New Xiaomi Hongmi GPS not working!

I did a quick test on Version 5.0 with AndroiTS GPS Test applaction and with IGO Primo, and the GPS is working with both.

I can use gps when I open mobile data but when I take off it. I can't use I wonder if it is necessary to fix sım card to use gps??

hi,
you dont need mobil data for GPS fix.
The mobil data's are only needed if you use an application using online maps. otherwise if you use applications using maps stored in the phone, you dont need mobil data.

When I touch ' find my location ' , it says it is not found your location , but I open mobil data , it can find the my location. I wonder the reason of this ?

I try yandex, but it crashed on my phone. But with AndroiTS GPS Test I have no issue with the GPS (No Data activated and no Wifi too) and I got a quick fix (even inside home).
Confirm, GPS is not working in stable v5. I'm using yandex maps. It used to work just fine in the prev (3.11.22), not working now.
SI_REQ request is rejected due to no net connection
pops up when gps is starting.
Tried some gps tests in mobileuncle - didn't seem to work.

GPS is working on my HongMi with V5.0.
In which region are you living?
I am in Germany and followed these instructions after installing v5:
