does xiaomi hongmi wcdma version support video call without any apps? I want to buy a WCDMA version & one of my friends told me Hongmi WCDMA version does not support video call without any third party app like sony xperia. So it's true? If anyone know that plz tell me.

it supports Skype, Viber, etc.

it doesn't come with a video calling app built in though.

But i don't know is there hardware problem for videocall or it is a software?

Is there an option in future to have this option - videocall over GSM channel

My wife's THL W100 have this option, my old CUBOT GT99 also have this function.

I really don't understand, the phone has a front and back camera, that can be used with a videocalling app.

This can be done on Wifi or 3G.

i don't understand too.
i think that is software problem, and may be some day it will be a solution. i'll be waiting, may be in future roms this option will be active.
I dont want use Skype or another videocall app. I want to use it like normal videocall over 3G network, like my very old Nokia E51 have an option when you call someone, if you have a 3G network coverage you may call it via videocall. Standart videocall goes over voice channel in 3G mode, not via data channel.
