I recently purchased the Xiaomi AX3000 NE and attempted to integrate it into my existing mesh network, which consists of two AX3600 units paired via a script. Despite considerable effort, I managed to add the AX3000 NE as a node, but the setup is extremely unstable and laggy, even though all three devices are connected via Ethernet. There are a couple of issues I'm facing:
- Firmware Version and Language: The router page indicates that the firmware version is 1.0.25, and the entire interface is in Chinese. This raises concerns about whether the device is a global version, as it was purchased as such. The model listed is rd28.
- Firmware Update and Region Change: I am unsure about the latest global firmware for the AX3000 NE. Additionally, I need to know if it's possible to flash a global firmware onto a Chinese version of the router.
- Mesh Integration Issues: The integration of the AX3000 NE into the mesh network is problematic. When trying to combine the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz channels into a single network, one of the 5 GHz SSIDs from the AX3000 NE node is not included.
