Xiaomi Service Framework

Hey,

After getting my Redmi 3, i noticed that there are two services constantly running in the background:

1. Xiaomi service framework
2. Xiaomi Mi cloud.

Even though i have disabled the MI cloud they have open connections to a server in Bejing, why is this? and where are they used for? You might call me paranoid but, i expect some reasonable explaination for these kind of connections.

How can i ensure that these connections are closed (other than flashing a ROM that is not MIUI)

Or does the xiaomi.eu ROM also resolve these kind of issues (since MIUI seems quite nice)?

You can disable the app and forget the worries about it (with SD Maud or titanium, and of course you need root the phone)
