have you tried to download spareparts+ (one with the blue gears) from market? it allows you to disable all animations and other little settings

It Works! doesnt give me download mode, says bootloader. But it gives me options now and skip track works as intended :)

no, volume press changes volume, not skipping tracks

same problem still, hot reboot. with the normal one i don't even get the menu anyways :/. I wonder what the problem could be
