You can click the link in C.3. in post #1 of this thread and check all the rom versions. Current chinese stable version is OS1.0.31.0.UNCCNXM. Go to your device settings/about phone amd you can see your OS Version.

Edit: I just got my dirty fingers on the EU version of Xiaomi 14. Bootloader unlocked through Xiaomi official tool without problems. Looking good so far, working perfectly fine.

The decision by Xiaomi to make it almost impossible for us users to unlock the BL is some mega BS. Now Xiaomi has pushed us into the arms of some greedy NN people on the internet who are pulling some BS on us users and even asking $60,- for nothing! Furthermore these NN people will eventually...

I guess the release of the Source Code (https://github.com/MiCode/Xiaomi_Kernel_OpenSource/tree/shennong-u-oss) for Xiaomi 14 Pro is a good news, because, I would assume, Xiaomi might make it easy to unlock the bootloader for global version of Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro.

It's no consolation to say Chinese HyperOS offers greater autonomy compared to the Chinese version of MIUI! You cannot compare a bad situation with a worse one and then conclude, that is a substantial improvement!

It is absolutely annoying that Xiaomi is forcing its users to use shady, unsafe and expensive channels to unlock the bootloader. If Xiaomi enforces the same bootloader policy to its international devices as well, then I'm certainly going to ditch Xiaomi smartphones for good after almost 10 years...
