Bluetooth headphones/Assign buttons issues

So i was trying to use my headphones to activate dictation mode by pressing 2 or 3 times the button of my headphones in xiaomi redmi note 7 pro, but when it came to "assign button" its says that it doesnt recognizes the headphones which its weird beacuse there a 2 buttons assigned (1 tap stop or play music, 2 taps google assistant) and they play well.
