Would it actually change anything concerning the mic issues?Have you compiled using M1cha audio hal? I'm trying this build

Ah ah ah yes if you look at cyanogen review Gerrit you will see (or commit of the setting application) you will see the code was wrong and setting min on max entry and vice versa. It was corrected well dunno If my latest build does contain the fix
Building with m1cha 's audio and camera libs. However microphone quality is lower than kitkat romsHave you compiled using M1cha audio hal? I'm trying this build

Sorry for the question if it looks obvious, but I was "out" of CM12: there still are microphones issues (no mic sometimes) or at the moment is just with a quality not so good?
If there's the issue, turning the mic off/on during a call will let it work?

the microphone works and when it did arrive to work in a call with the speakerphone on and off returns, this ROM is better than Miui lollipop v6 I am also the beta team and go disappointment

Don't expect that, the real improvement will come when M1cha is out of his exams. He already said he would then work on it, stabilise his custom audio and camera HAL for cm12. And bring it to the official branch. I don't think we have any other Dev who has such in depth knowledge on these issues. So I'll happily wait till end of Feb, when his real life exams will be over.

I suggest you to use something more updated (like: forum.xda-developers.com/paranoid-android/general/gapps-official-to-date-pa-google-apps-t2943900).
And to don't restore any GApp apk.

I'd like to try this, so this is what I am going to do on mi Mi2s:
- enter CWM recovery 6.0.5.1 and wipe data/factory reset
- flash cm-12-20150106........zip
- flash patch-audio-for-the-mic.zip
- flash UPDATE-AnyKernel2-khaon-kernel-aries-lollipop-01-22-2015.zip
- flash PA gapps
- restart device
are these the right steps?

There's a February release from khaon wich is compiled correctly and embed his kernel so no need to flash patch nor kernel
