Hey everyone,
I recently got a new phone and started the bootloader unlock process using the official tool and my existing Xiaomi account.
At first I got the "standard" 168 hours waiting time, but out of nowhere the time increased to one more week.
I haven't logged out of the account but someone in here already suggested that you can't update (not even officially) the phone software or the timer will change but I have no source to back this up.
Anyway, my question is, does anyone know if I can factory reset the phone, delete my existing Mi account, create a new one using the same phone number (or maybe even use the existing account), and then apply to unlock again in the hopes that it will give me the 168 Hours waiting time again or will I risk increasing it even more?
