Install notes:
1. if you are coming from other ROM than WiUi KK and you didn't flash CWM Recovery
- download the latest WiUi ROM
- flash the latest Recovery from here via Updater app
- power off your phone
- use power+volup for enter to Recovery
- flash WIUI_KK_Mi2_4_x_xx.zip to system1 or system2
- you need Wipe Data and Wipe Cache

2. if you're on WiUi KK ROM, follow this steps
- download the latest WiUi ROM
- restart your device into CWM Recovery
- flash WIUI_KK_Mi2_4_x_xx.zip to system1 or system2

My Tips
Better battery/performance:
- disable Location services more info (preventing non user caused wakelocks)
- try to use Power mode/Power saving (underclock to 918Mhz)
- use App Control (disable almost everything)

After couple days, I will write the answer
If your device is important for your job, maybe JB is recommend, but in my opinion basic features working right with this release.

Don't forget, this is beta, and it has some bug, but in my opinion much better than first test version.

Same thing happens with WSM tools (I also think that the wireless driver is diferent in some mi2s models that is why is not loading - I had no MAC address in my wireless info that is how i think i don't have the driver)

On my Mi2, Desktop screen works perfectly, not the Lockscreen, failed to be applied.
Wifi no problem, all works!

Hint for the next release, add the possibility to launch recovery mode when it push on/off button (the same thing for WIUI 4.1).

For those who are having trouble enabling WiFi, I was able to resolve that issue when I did a full data wipe, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, then clean install.

Is anyone else missing the ability to sync their Google calendar? This is really the only thing that's keeping this latest ROM from being a daily driver for me, otherwise everything else seems to be working so far.

Edited: Nevermind, I got the Google calendar to sync when I downloaded Google Calendar from the Play Store (never had to do that before).

Hi,

First of all, GREAT Job!
Installed on system 2 with full wipes. Miui Backup works like charm! I backed up from Wiui 4.4.11 and restored perfectly.
*Bugs*:
1. Can't set lock screen wallpaper.
2. Some themes have disappeared including my backed up theme/
3. I don't have an option to add E-mail (Corporate) account, thats why its not for daily use for me...
4. No 3-way reboot.

Anyway waiting for more updates, apparently official Miui based on KitKAt will come soon, there were leaked images of Mi3S running android 4.4.
