7.3.1 improves a lot. Also remove your music app from power optimizations.

I'm on 7.3.1. The crackling noise still persist in headphone. Turn on Mi Sound Enhancer and 90% volume you will hear it.

in your case do you feel, same, degraded or improved with miui player ?

I don't know precisely, I think more optimizations. In MIUI Weekly ROM releases you have the change log link for stables.

Flight mode is the problem, from your screenshot the problem is evident. Watch this thread, where the bug had been reported and confirm it. I have the same issue! http://en.miui.com/thread-183026-1-1.html
