I have never got Volte to work here in Denmark and I have tried many mobile network providers. Usually this feature is reserved to sSamsung and Apple's phones. Then I came across this *#*#86583#*#*. Code and now it works, great. Just want to share it with you.

Hi, just gave it a try, it says "volte carrier check disabled", but are you sure it really activate volte ?
Hi again. It is activated in the settings. But mine still shows 4g+. I guess my carrier does not support it. I'm with sosh, on orange network in France
I can remember that Volte icon appeared next day, even though Volte features was enabled in system settings. Before applying the code, it was inactive. Try rebooting end look if the network connection switch to 3G when calling. Best luck
@zmaydk, thanx very much! Got my 2s today (China Stable Rom) and was disappointed, that Volte was greyed out. After your tip, Volte is working now 
Phantastic. The only thing: its show now "HD" in statusbar not "Volte" but thats no problem for me.

HD in status bar also means volte some carriers call it volte and others call it HD voice congratualtions. Mine still not work tho and i know it should because my carrier supports.
I flashed the xiaomi.eu rom and I noticed that on the original rom I had voLTE icon both on the bar and in the call log instead on the eu you do not see anything missing the icons in the rom or it is a bugs
